ZBNF Project |
ZBNF project is implementing in Narsaropet and Nakarikallu mandal of Palnadu district. Working with 100 farmers at 4 villages and the farmers are cultivating ZBNF in 100 acres. 100 chemical farming farmers to take up ZBNF mode of cultivation. • Reduced the expenditure of cultivating per acre and enhance the income levels in a sustainable way. • Bring 200 acres of chemical farming land in to natural farming mode. • As green manure crop is sown and harvested, soil organic matter is increased and earn amount for initial investment for main crop. • 31% input cost saved by adopting the ZBNF practices. • 35% additional income gain by adopting the ZBNF implementation. • ZBNF plot product got 28.36% additional price than chemical farming product. • Soil carbon and other soil nutrition’s are increased. • Not harmful to humanduring the application of ZBNF inputs. • The benefit cost ratio was more by ZBNF plot. • During the attacking “yerra Nalli” in this season Crop, the ZBNF plots is recovered quickly. • Crop duration period was increased by 15 days • The produce shelf-life is increased up to 7 days. • Inculcate the habit of intercropping and multilayer cropping. |

MEDP, LEDP & SDP trainings |
• 270 SHG women are got the training under MEDP.Out of 270 trained women, 242 members were taken up the activity. • • 360 SHG women are got the training under LEDP. 85% of the women weretaken up the activity. • • 90 un employed youth are trained under this activity. 82 members are taken up the activity. • Their income is increased up to 8000/- from 4500/- per month on an average. |
