"AWARD received RBI’s approval to implement 84 awareness campaigns in four districts, reaching a total population of 5,040. To date, 27 camps have been held, with the rest planned for completion during the 2025–26 period."

Tribal Development fund project

Rajupalem and Nekarikallu mandals of Palnadu district

2022-23 to 2027-28

The project will enhance the livelihoods of 478 tribal families by developing small orchards (‘Wadi’), promoting sustainable agriculture, and integrating allied and off-farm activities. Expected outcomes include improved household income, enhanced food security, better ecological balance through agroforestry, increased market access, and strengthened community resilience. This holistic approach will ensure long-term economic stability and environmental sustainability in remote tribal villages.

Formation and Promotion of FPOs

Phirangipuram mandal of Guntur district, Narsaropet mandal of Planadu district and Anantasagaram mandals of SPSR Nellore district

2019-20 to 2023-24

Total of 1,850 farmers have joined FPOs as shareholders, enhancing their collective bargaining power. Three collection centers worth Rs.45 lakh, funded by the Horticulture Department, are operational, benefiting farmers. FPOs have successfully initiated input and output business activities, improving agricultural productivity and market access.

Out of 360 trained women, 325 have successfully started their activities, with 288 members securing credit facilities. Each member earns an additional income of up to Rs. 6,000 per month, contributing to their financial independence and sustainable livelihood.

The Grama Pragathi: Integrated Community Health, Hygiene & Empowerment Initiative is a six month CSR project proposed by AWARD NGO to Zhongfu Foundation to improve health, hygiene, financial inclusion and livelihoods among rural and tribal communities in selected areas of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.“The project will be implemented in 42 villages, covering 3500 families 18000 population in Bapatla, Guntur and Palnadu districts of Andhra Pradesh, and Tandur, Bashirabad and Yalal mandals of Vikarabad district in Telangana.”
